DAZN didn't work at all, even though I tried both the US and UK servers. The connection times were also fast, but the webpage lagged at first. The same can be said about BBC iPlayer – I accessed it, but the performance was similar to Netflix. On top of that, the speed was too slow for even HD video quality. For some users, that's more than enough, but still, it's frustrating when you can't watch something that's exclusively available in the UK or Japan only.
I could unblock Netflix US but not other libraries, even though the website promises six more. Unfortunately, that's not the case with this VPN. Usually, that means you should have no problems while watching your favorite movies and shows. Ivacy VPN has specialized streaming servers for different content platforms. Streaming: can Ivacy VPN unblock Netflix? However, if you use any other tunneling protocol than OpenVPN UDP, expect a massive dropdown of upload numbers. You can expect about a 50% drop-off from your usual Internet connection when connecting to a server on another continent. To sum up, Ivacy VPN gives you above-average speeds. However, using a VPN can increase your speed if the ISP is throttling your connection, which is often the case with P2P.

On the other hand, if your connection is slow, no protocol will help you stream in 4K or download large files in a matter of minutes. Most of the time, it's much faster than any other option available. The biggest issue with Ivacy VPN speed is the lack of the WireGuard protocol. The average upload speed is a bit better, though it also doesn't reach the levels of top VPNs. The fluctuations in download speed, while not severe, are also quite a few. That makes Ivacy VPn one of the slower VPNs on the market, far from the speed giants like NordVPN or Surfshark. The fastest connection speed is with the Canadian servers, while the UK and US locations experience quite big drops. The average download speed of Ivacy VPN with OpenVPN protocol is pretty good, but not excellent. Maybe the issue is that I'm currently in South America and the 'wires are too long'.See live VPN provider data on our VPN speed test tool Ivacy used to be a better and more reliable service. ORIGINAL POST: Unreliable & VPN service is deteriorating You can use Ivacy to access some geo-restricted content but it is hardly useful for streaming live TV channels even at lower image quality streams are getting interrupted or break up too frequently - ITV (UK television) hardly works nowadays, they recognise that a VPN is being used and therefore block the stream - BBC (UK television) - often stutters, poor quality - and TVnow.ch - no longer work, they recognise that a VPN is being used and therefore block the stream - stutters and breaks up too often, image often too poor, it used to work much better and more reliably in the past - Support acknowledges issues when reported but these have never been resolved in my cases. Since I usually do not use these, it's no problem for me.

Also, torrent does not seem to work reliably (or not at all) and I don't think that Netflix or Disney+ work satisfactorily. Therefore, I would not use it if I wanted to stream the BBC's content. Also, the stream is cut off every 20 or so minutes, and you will have to refresh the page to make it reload. The stream starts out fine but after a few seconds, the resolution is adjusted down and the footage looses crispness, visibly. One of the biggest issues with Ivacy is that, besides the streams being cut off, some of their streams, in particular BBC iPlayer and, get heavily compressed.
BBC iPlayer and do not work well, at least not in a way that one could watch something for an hour without several interruptions. It also works fine with YouTube, if you want another country's YouTube.
